7-node k3s Cluster

Built a fully HA 7-node k3s cluster from scratch — 3 NUC masters with embedded etcd, 4 mini PC workers split into light and heavy tiers. Longhorn distributed storage, Traefik ingress, Prometheus monitoring, and 20+ self-hosted services running in production.

Replaced EdgeRouter X with OPNsense on a Dell OptiPlex. Configured Kea DHCP with 16 static reservations, Unbound DNS with local overrides, Suricata IDS with ET Open rulesets, and Tailscale for remote access behind double CGNAT.

Custom family portal built with Pocketbase backend and vanilla JS frontend. Features: shared shopping list, family calendar, meal planner, announcements board, expense tracker, and a live network topology map with vis-network.
